Tortora’s
In March of 2008, a distinctive location in Hampton Cove and the dream of creating extraordinary pizza led Joe Moore to open Tortora’s. The restaurant’s name, Tortora, is derived from the family name of Joe’s mother. Her parents immigrated from Italy to New York City through Ellis Island in the early 1900’s.
Guided by two exceptional consultants from The World Pizza Champions, Tortora’s has gained favorable attention for our pizza throughout the years in business. There are also several other reasons why guests frequent Tortora’s, including a variety of delicious pastas, entrees, salads, calzones, desserts, as well as, draft beers, wine and mixed drinks. Guests may choose to enjoy watching their hand tossed pizzas being made while dining in the main restaurant or relax and enjoy a meal on the enclosed and heated patio. Whether serving large gatherings of family and friends or perhaps a dinner date for two, our staff strives to provide great food and friendly service to everyone.
